Presidents Day
Yesterday, was the presidents day. It started from 1885. Also it is still officially called Washington’s Birthday by the federal government. People at that time, use to celebrate the
actual Washington's birthday. In 1971, it became popular when the move the holiday on
Monday to make a three days weekend. While some states still have individual holidays honoring the birthdays of Washington, Abraham Lincoln and other presidents. Presidents’ Day is now popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents past and present.
