New York is Always a Good Idea!!
In
the beginning of January I went to New York for three days and had a wonderful
vacation. I stayed in a hotel in Soho. And in Soho I had everything what I was
looking for, restaurants, stores, galleries and a beautiful architecture. We
were unlucky with the weather. Although the weather was 10 degrees, we had a
very good time. The first day we took a bus city tour and saw famous places
like Empire State Building, Time Square, World Trade Center, Statue of Liberty
and much more. We went twice to the same Café named “Jack’s Wife Freda” for
breakfast, because it was delicious and Mediterranean kitchen. For dinner we
chose the Tapas bar “Boqueria Soho” and we ate delicious Tapas like in
Barcelona. The next day I visited as a art lover the MoMA Museum, the Museum of
modern art. I was able to see paintings of my favorite painters like Picasso,
Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, Gustav Klimt and the special exhibition of Henri
Matisse. All in all it was a very interesting mini vacation with days full of
joy.
Actually three days are not enough for New
York, therefore I hope to have the chance to visit this amazing city again.
Serra, you make me want to fly to New York right now! Restaurants, museums... all the great places you've described... how amazing! I can only imagine how wonderful were the exhibits at MoMA.
